(1) Any officer or employee of the Port Trust Tho, without

authority, demands or receives from any person any payment, gratu

or present in consideration of doing or omitting to do any act or thing pertaining to his office or employment, shall upon summary Conviction be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one

year.

Any person who, without lawful authority, offers, makes or gives

to any officer or employee of the Port Trust any payment, gratuity or

present in consideration that such officer or employee will do or omi-

to do some act or thing pertaining to his office or employment shall

be liable upon summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not

exceeding one year.

(3) Any Officer or employee of the Port Trust, or any other person,

who wilfully destroys any documents of or belonging to the Port Trust.

shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanour, and shall be liable upon

conviction to imprisonment for the term of two years.

(1) The Governor in Council may at any time transfer to the Port

Trust for administration management and control any lease real and

personal, moveable and immoveable property, or interest therein, in

furtherance of the powers, duties, authorities and obligations,

undertaken by the Port Trust under this Ordinance.

(2) The Port Trust may, with the approval of the Governor in

Council establish at any time a limit in the waters of the port under

its jurisdiction beyond which construction from the shore may not be

extended and shall designate such limit as the "Port headline" for

any part or the whole of the waters of the Colony.

(3) When previously authorised by the Governor in Council, the Port

Trust may acquire, hold, possess, sell, dispose of or lease real and and personal, moveable and immoveable property; and may either by

itself or in co-operation with others construct maintain and operate

roads, railways, vessels, plant and equipment; and generally do such

things and exercise such powers as it deems necessary for the

efficient administration, management and control of the port harbo works and other property under its jurisdiction.
